Glycolic Acid is a superficial peeling agent that is made from sugar cane. It is often considered the most active and beneficial of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA).

Great, but takes patience Oct 28, 2007

I just got this product in the mail last week and I have used it twice so far. It says to use it once a week, but I didn't really notice anything so I did it again 3 days later. I am definetly noticing a difference in my skins texture and my melesma is a lot lighter. I am hoping that with another 2 or 3 applications my skin flaws will be barely noticeable.

This won't make you into the next Angelina but it does do a great job of giving you baby smooth skin. It rolls on easily and the acid just stings like you really want to itch your face. But don't worry, it's not painful. It rinses off easily and when applied very regularly (for those with a better memory than myself to do that) it can definitely lighten blemishes and help erase the mistakes in your complexion. I started using it because it's very similar to what my favorite spa uses in facials.

I originally bought this to fade my tattoo, but I tried it on my face to see if it would get rid of the wrinkle lines on my forehead. After three weeks (using a once a week regiment), my forehead is looking fantastic! I read the other reviews about the roll-on applicator being difficult to use. If you read the directions, it recommends rolling the glycolic acid onto a cotton pad and then using the cotton pad on your face. I find this much easier to use. The roll-on applicator is useful for applying the glycolic acid to my tattoo, which is fading quite nicely.

I got my product really quick BUT half the product had spilled. Received less than half bottle. They should do a better job in securing the product so this doesn't continue to happen. However i am getting a refund so i guess that's great.

I bought this product to fade my tattoo. It was shipped to me quickly. It serves its purpose in that it is easy to apply but as far as using it for a facial chemical peel, I don't think it would be convenient for application on the entire face. For that purpose I would recommend the gel peel product. If you just want to target spot areas then this might be what you want. It's handy and not messy due to its roll-on application.
